Ghyll Scrambling/ Canyoning

Over the last couple of years this sport has increased in popularity, with such exciting gorges, stunning scenery and exhilarating waterfalls it is easy to see why.

Ghyll Scrambling this term refers to walking and climbing up a river flow, staying within the water course the challenge is to push against the water and climb over the obstacles it has created. A Ghyll in a word describe a narrow stream of water, it is this which we scramble or climb up.

Canyoningis used to describe following a water course down through a gorge or waterfall section. Following a stream through a vertical wall canyon has an exciting atmosphere and is an experience like no other. We have many canyons to chose from depending on how much excitement you are looking for.
