All our activities are designed to develop confidence, communication and listening skills, personal and social development, responsibility for the environment, safety awareness, the correct use and care of equipment.

Hill Climb Activities Ltd was formed in April 2004 by Diane and Andy Hill.
Diane and Andy have a love of the outdoors and with a combined background in youth work, high schools (social inclusion), outdoor education and event management Diane and Andy decided it was time to break out and work for themselves. Their combined experience and qualifications have enabled them to develop activities incorporated around their specialist skills of archery, climbing, canoeing and kayaking, problem solving and mountaineering. We can tailor make courses to meet your objectives and budget requirements. We have wide ranging experience of providing multi-activity days for both primary and high schools and have received excellent feedback on our work.

We are now offering After Schools Courses, where we come to your school to run activities including: Climbing, Archery, Problem Solving, Orienteering. This will expand our activities even further and we would be delighted to discuss any of our activities and suitable programmes for you or your organisation. Contact us for more details.

The only one of its kind to be operating in the UK, this is a fantastic addition to our existing activities.  At 7 metres high, as you can see from the images there are numerous combinations of activities to choose from. The High Ropes Course is ideal for development work, skills development and more.

We can incorporate rope work and other technical skills into all the activities.

Using the latest equipment, we can offer archery for all ages and abilities. With a focus on safety, fun and learning and by using various games and activities, archery can be used to promote personal development and can also link into literacy and numeracy skills.

We have nationally qualified instructors who will introduce games designed to improve group work and communication in a safe environment. Archery fits in well on its own or combined with other activities.

Hill Climb Activities have developed a full package of problem solving tasks to enable participants to develop and enhance their problem solving skills. Our problem solving packages can be incorporated into full activity days or can be used as a stand alone activity.

Currently our portfolio includes schools (both students and staff), FE colleges, INSET days, management development and youth groups. We also offer staff training in and around the area of problem solving. This incorporates the theoretical, practical and safety aspects of problem solving
